How to Use Your Reed Diffuser
1. Prepare the Vessel
Place your diffuser bottle on a stable, level surface.
Carefully remove the stopper or travel plug.
If your diffuser has a decorative screw-top collar, remove it first, take out the plug, and then replace the collar.
2. Insert the Reeds
Place the reeds into the bottle, allowing them to rest at the bottom.
For a stronger scent, use all the reeds provided.
For a subtler fragrance in smaller rooms (like a bathroom), start with 4–5 reeds.
3. The First "Flip"
Allow the reeds to sit in the oil for about 30 minutes to an hour. Then, carefully remove them and flip them over so the "wet" ends are at the top - This speeds up the capillary action and starts the diffusion process immediately.
4. Find the Perfect Spot
Place your diffuser in a high-traffic area—such as a hallway or near a doorway—where the natural movement of air will help carry the scent throughout the room.
Pro Tips for Fragrance Longevity
The Weekly Flip:
To refresh the scent, flip the reeds once a week. Always do this over a sink or a paper towel to avoid oil droplets marking your furniture.
Avoid Drafts & Heat:
Keep your diffuser away from direct sunlight, radiators, or air conditioning vents. Heat and airflow can cause the oil to evaporate much faster than intended.
Protect Your Surfaces:
Accidental spills can damage delicate surfaces. I recommend placing your diffuser on a decorative coaster or tray.
Replace the Reeds:
Over time, reeds can become "clogged" with dust. If you notice the scent fading even after flipping, it may be time to replace the reeds with a fresh set.
Safety First
Do Not Light:
Reed diffuser oil is flammable; never attempt to light the reeds.
Keep Out of Reach:
Ensure the diffuser is placed where children and pets cannot knock it over.
Non-Consumable:
The oil is not for consumption or skin application. If oil comes into contact with your skin, wash immediately with soap and water
