What are Wax Melts?

Wax melts are the perfect wickless alternative for those who love the scent and warmth of a candle without the open flame, making them ideal for homes with pets and/or children. 

What type of Wax does Clean, Calm & Collective use?

Our Wax Melts are made from Coconut wax. Coconut wax is a newer addition to the wax options, made from coconut oil, it has a creamy texture and excellent fragrance retention. Coconut wax has a slow and even burn, allowing for a longer-lasting scent experience. It provides a smooth and glossy finish to wax melts, making them visually appealing. This wax does not contain any genetically modified ingredients, soy, palm, or paraffin products. It is biodegradable and vegan friendly. Its natural composition means it is a renewable and sustainable wax option.

How do I use them?

To use wax melts, place them in a wax warmer or oil burner and the heat will melt the wax, releasing its fragrance. You can use either an electric warmer or a tealight-heated burner. For tealight burners, light the tealight and place it beneath the dish holding the wax melts. For electric warmers, simply switch it on. Once the wax melts, the fragrance will be released and when you want to stop, extinguish the tealight or turn off the electric warmer. 

How do you dispose of Wax Melts?

To dispose of used wax melts, let them cool and harden, then either pop them out of the warmer or melt them slightly to easily remove the wax. Because our Wax Melts are made from Coconut Wax, you can dispose of the hardened wax in the general waste bin as this type of wax is biodegradable.

We do advise to avoid pouring melted wax down the drain though, as it can cause clogs.
