Himalayan Salt Lamp Care Guide (3–4 kg)

​To keep your natural salt lamp glowing beautifully for years to come, follow these simple care tips:

​Keep it Glowing! 

​Salt is hygroscopic, meaning it naturally attracts moisture from the air. The best way to keep your lamp dry is to leave it turned on as much as possible. The heat from the bulb evaporates any moisture and prevents the lamp from "sweating."  

​Handling "Sweating" or Leaking 

​If you live in a humid environment or leave the lamp off for long periods, it may develop a bit of moisture on the surface.

​The Fix: Simply pat the lamp dry with a lint-free cloth and turn it on to let the warmth do the rest.

​Pro Tip: Always place your 3–4 kg lamp on a decorative plate or a coaster to protect wooden furniture from any potential salt residue.

Cleaning Your Lamp 

​Never submerge your salt lamp in water! To clean it:

​Turn the lamp off and let it cool.

​Wipe the surface with a damp (not soaking) sponge or cloth to remove dust.

​Dry immediately with a clean towel and turn the lamp back on.

Changing the Bulb

​Your lamp uses a standard heat-producing bulb (usually 15W or 25W).

​Always unplug the lamp before changing the bulb.

​Gently squeeze the spring clips on the power cord base to pull the assembly out of the salt cavity.

Storage 

​If you need to store your lamp for a long time, remove the cord and bulb, then wrap the salt stone tightly in a plastic bag or cling film to seal out all moisture.

​This size is the "sweet spot" for home wellness! It provides enough surface area to effectively ionize a medium-sized room (like a bedroom or home office) while remaining easy to move and style.
